The Universe is slowly beginning to spin again. Nothing keeps the magic flowing better than a bubbling crowd of lovely writers–eccentric writers, eclectic writers, and downright crazy writers. I’ve missed you all so! And nothing draws authors faster than free promos.

Novel Magic Free Author Promotion
Do you write paranormal mysteries, fantasies, cozy mysteries, thrillers? Paranormal elements preferred but not required. I’m looking for posts that capture readers’ interest with interesting, lively content. NO straight promo. NO excerpts. See the checklist below for suggestions and more info.
Local Legends Free Author Promotion
Do you live and write in southern Missouri–roughly from Mansfield on the west, Piedmont on the east, Salem on the north and Thayer on the south?
Why so specific? Well, I’ll tell ya. Writing in any genre in this area and getting support, promos, or meeting like-minded individuals is a daunting task. To the west, Springfield has resources for writers as do larger cities to the north and east (we’ll ignore the southern boundary which gets you into Arkansas and that is a horse of a totally different color). This little square you see on the map is something of a literary wasteland! Oh there are the odd author events and writers who specialize in history of the Ozarks do well–even nonfiction and some mystery writers have some success. But paranormal and fantasy–whew! It’s a steep climb for us even with our shimmering fairy wings or our ghostly raiment.
Having said all that, I will happily accept posts for Local Legends if you live anywhere near my arbitrary map box–even Arkansas!
