My Halloween decorations are up and I have a bunch of witchy tales to share this Autumn.

Atlantis Aeon Ainsley Durham loves running her antique shop, Fancy This, in Old Town Auralia, but takes seriously her mission to work with her fellow Aeons to fight Darkness in her hometown. But she’s changing. Her precognition is showing her darker and darker visions of what’s to come. When growing darkness forces her to reevaluate her place in the Aeons and her work, she’s not sure she belongs in either space any longer. Her terrible past urges her to withdraw, not only from her mission but from letting true love in.
Bounty hunter-turned-bonds company owner Keegan Barnes is also an Aeon. He hears things others don’t, and sometimes he wishes he could shut down his clairaudience ability. After all, he doesn’t see how he can help the cause with such a low-key ability. But when he picks up discussions among members of Dark Sides, will he discover just how much he’s been underestimating himself? He’s hiding secrets that keep him from healing his scars and getting close to anyone, most of all Ainsley.
Keegan and Ainsley know the efforts the Aeons have been putting in to raise the level of light energy in the city have been helping. But will it be enough to influence others to make choices for good or will Dark Sides take the city? Can they team up to save the city and find true love? Find out in this thrilling book two in the Dark Sides trilogy.

Dark and Light
I received a copy of Hear Me from Goddess Fish and the author in exchange for an honest review.
Hear Me is the second installment in Lynn Crandall’s Dark Sides trilogy, and while it makes sense and moves along nicely, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the first book before this one. It’s a trilogy, and Hear Me is the middle book.
The world-building is well done–we have a group of goodies who have skills against a group of baddies who have skills–and are the kind of soul-sucking negative energy that can ruin your day. We have local politics, intrigue, and a bunch of family issues, as well as the dynamics of the group. Plenty of things are going on, and the descriptions and dialogue build suspense.
Main characters Keegan and Ainsley have their own personal issues, but you see where this is going, and the romance grows nicely.
Hear Me takes you into the world of mystic practitioners; some are seasoned, but some are just learning their powers. The group protects and nurtures each other and comes to the aid of their friends, no matter what. But even the best intentions can be manipulated.
Hear Me is a thought-provoking urban fantasy featuring a diverse cast of complex characters and a plot that unfolds within a city of light workers and their dark counterparts. Like a good urban fantasy should, the story deals with the fantastic against a backdrop of normalcy as an unsuspecting populace go about their business, unaware of the battle under way. A good read!!

Thank you so much for hosting and reviewing HEAR ME.
I appreciate so much that you took time to read and review my book Hear Me. I loved exploring the Aeons’ world and the concept of choice in creating positive or negative outcomes.
Great blog! I’ll be back to respond to any comments that come up.
