I considered a couple of directions for this F day (I bet you can guess at least one of them). I hope somebody else picked that because I need to read a good f**k them post.
And I could have phrased Facilitate as Foment Rebellion—because at the moment, it seems that may be necessary.

F is for Facilitate
Once you reach a certain age, depending on your health and other circumstances, you may feel like you can no longer be of use, as you may not be able to march or protest in person. You may feel unsafe, or carrying signs may just not be your thing.
And so, you sit at home feeling guilty and useless and helpless.
Nope. Wrong. If you have a computer or a smartphone, you can facilitate the hell out of every phase of the Resistance.
So many dedicated people are speaking out and they are saying things so much better than I can. If you do nothing more than spread the word by reposting or encouraging them, then you are doing a service. You are keeping those people motivated by letting them know someone is out there—listening, depending on them, hoping for their success. They are fighting for you and they need to hear from you.
Help anyone who is heading in the right direction. Amplify the voices of others. Repost on social media. Support with donations if you can. Lend your encouragement, your skills, and your advice whenever you can.
Connect people with others who might need help. Connect people with organizations and groups where they can find like-minded people to work with. Share. Share. Share.
Volunteer
Share your time by volunteering. Here are a couple of links and suggestions for getting started.
Find local organizations such as the local food bank, the town library, and other charities you support. Get involved with your local political party organizations. Your local vetrinary clinic might need help–be a foster mom or dad for an abandoned or neglected pet.
You don’t have to get super political. Grab a cause and help.
Social Media
Social media is a cranky beast, at best. Always protect your identity. Don’t post personal info. I abandoned Twitter some time ago and I try to keep my author media separate from my personal accounts, but in my rural area, social media of one kind or another is the only way to get local news in a timely manner. It is also the best way to reach a large number of people in a short time.
Bluesky is a comfortable alternative to Twitter though it isn’t as robust–yet. Come join us where the sky is blue.
Find Facebook groups that support your beliefs and post, repost, rinse and repeat.
Instagram–A tried and true platform.
Engage with friends by liking their posts and reposting. Let people know about upcoming events and spread the word about successes. Basically, be a cheerleader with a megaphone!
Facilitating is a great way to get started if you’ve been out of the game for a bit. Physically, I hibernate year round on my secluded little patch of ground, but I’m online everyday one way or another. If someone who seriously does not enjoy crowds like me can deal with the superhighway of the Interwebs, then so can you.
