If the Presidential campaigns aren’t frightening enough––no matter which side you are on––or if you need an escape from the woes and worries of everyday, step into Sorchia’s Universe. During this year’s Fabulous A-Z Blog Challenge, my theme is Things That Go Bump in the Night.
Here in Sorchia’s Universe, we (and by we, I mean I) love a good ghost story—especially stories that just might be true. I write paranormal romance and Gothic thrillers and my research takes me deep into the traditions of a variety of cultures including Celtic, Native American, Aztec, Mayan, and Haitian. During April, I’ll share some of my deeper, darker, freakier findings in short posts you can digest with your morning Scotch and croissant (or maybe that’s just me.)
Besides the more familiar zombies and unicorns, look for posts about the Aztec Demon God, Itzcoliugqui; Popobawa, the malevolent bat-winged demon of East Africa; and the Kludde, a Flemish water spirit who attacks innocent wanderers.
Follow Sorchia’s Universe to get notifications of each post and to be eligible for free stories in May. Not sure you’re ready to make a commitment? Take a look at recent posts in the Universe, too, like the Skeleton in the Closet and Blue Men of the Minch.
I love comments!! Leave suggestions for posts, comments on topics, and general paranormal gossip.
I hope to see you in Sorchia’s Universe in April.
